Alumni Foundation

Mission

Incorporated in 1960, the OAC Alumni Foundation (OACAF) is an independent body dedicated to the achievement of a well-educated, well-informed, prosperous and sustainable agriculture and rural community in Ontario.

The Alumni Foundation works with OAC and Alumni Affairs & Development to raise funds for:

  • providing awards to encourage bright, capable high school students to study agriculture (including food, environmental and rural issues) in degree and diploma programs at the Ontario Agricultural College
  • recognizing in-course students and graduands who have a high level of academic achievement and are making outstanding leadership contributions
  • supporting initiatives that improve the learning and living environment for OAC students and the teaching, research and technology-transfer programs of the College.

Governance Structure

The activities of OACAF are governed by a board consisting of an executive committee, directors and committee representatives.
