Future Students

The Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences, or BSc(Env) - will give you the expertise and skills you need to start your career as an environmental problem-solver. You will take a wide range of courses from a variety of disciplines in this unique program, balancing in-depth science within a broader context of societal needs, economics and politics.

Solid Scientific Base

  • strong interdisciplinary grounding in environmental sciences including the socioeconomic context in which environmental issues are resolved
  • multidisciplinary approach delivered through the expertise of several departments and colleges within the University of Guelph
  • focus on specific principles, management and decision-making skills for the application of scientific knowledge to environmental problems and the evaluation of appropriate environmental policies
  • practical perspective based on identifying and resolving real-world problems
