Land Resource Science

The objective of the MSc and PhD programs in land and atmospheric science is to provide opportunities for advanced studies and research on the lower atmosphere, soil, water and surficial geological deposits. Develop an understanding of the relationships among these resources, and their management within the context of sustainable development. The program emphasizes cross-disciplinary research with a focus on biophysical sciences.

Research facilities available include well-equipped laboratories for atmospheric science and agrometeorology, soil chemistry, soil mineralogy, soil physics, soil biology and
biochemistry, and plant nutrition.
