Agricultural Economics
Agricultural Economics prepares students for careers as economic analysts in the agrifood sector and in public agencies. In addition, this major provides excellent background for students planning to pursue graduate work in agricultural and resource economics and other areas of applied economics. This is an ideal program for students preparing for careers in the growing agri-food sector. For students planning to farm, the department provides strong training in farm management, including a strong emphasis in agricultural science. There is also an emphasis on team work, leadership and communication skills.
