Earth Surface Science
Degree Program: Bachelor of Science
Our landscape is continuously reshaped by the forces of nature. The change is governed by the movement of water and air, the transport of sediments, and the chemical and physical properties of the earth's surface. In Earth Surface Science, you will develop specialized skills in the areas of earth science that focus on physical processes operating at the surface, with a particular emphasis on fluid flow, sediment transport and the physical and chemical properties of surface materials. Along with a firm theoretical background in the processes that control landscape development, you'll receive hands-on training in practical laboratory and field techniques and instrumentation.
