Equine Management

Canada's first degree program in Equine Management combines comprehensive insight into the biology, physiology and behaviour of horses with competencies in handling horses and knowledge of the economic and managerial aspects of the equine industry. It features a hands-on approach to managing horses and provides a solid foundation in business principles and ethics with a focus on the environment and sustainability. Graduates will be prepared for a broad range of leadership and managerial positions in the industry.

The program features a multi-campus study program. Students enrolled in the program will study at the University's Kemptville campus for years 1 and 2, then complete the final two years at the main campus in Guelph.
