Rural Extension Studies (minor)

This program is designed for students interested in pursuing studies focused on the development of non-formal educational programs for rural people, their organizations and their communities. Designed as a minor in the honours program, it consists of 5.00 credits. 3.00 of these are drawn from the area of Rural Extension studies; 2.00 electives must be chosen from 1 or several complementary disciplines in the social sciences. Students seeking counselling should consult with a departmental advisor in Rural Extension Studies.
