David Murray

David Murray produces cash crops, specialty soybeans and broiler chickens on his Ontario farm. A graduate of the University of Guelph, he was a founding member of First Line Seeds, a company dedicated to the breeding and expansion of new soybean varieties.

Murray was a member of the Board of Governors for Fanshawe College from 1996 to 2002, and served as Board Chair. He was the first mayor of the town of Westminster, and has worked with a number of agriculture-related committees and organizations.
