Robert Slater

Robert Slater is a consultant and a lecturer in Environmental Policy at Carleton University in Ottawa. He previously served as senior assistant deputy minister for Environment Canada and vice-chair of the New York-based World Environment Centre.

Slater played a key role in developing the US-Canada accord on air quality and served as Chair of the International Joint Commission's Great Lakes Water Quality Board.
