Dr. Jun Zhu

Dr. Jun Zhu is currently Vice-President of Zhejiang University in China and serves as Director of the Institute of Bioinformatics. He is a Professor in the Department of Agronomy at Zhejiang Agricultural University.

His previous roles include serving as Dean of the College of Agriculture and Biotechnology at Zhejiang. He holds an MS in Agronomy from Zhejiang and a PhD in Statistics and Genetics from North Carolina State.

Dr. Zhu's research interests include developing genetic models and analysis methods for complex traits, proposing analysis methods for experiments, especially with unbalanced data, and breeding and genetic analysis of crops for improving quantitative traits.
