Ridgetown Extends Invitation to Applicant Information Day
Students Investigate One-Year Equine Training

On Monday, April 25, faculty, staff and student ambassadors at OAC's Ridgetown campus will welcome applicants and their parents or guardians who are interested in the Veterinary Office Administration Certificate and Veterinary Technology Diploma to an Applicant Information Day.  The event provides an opportunity to learn about program requirements, facilities and student life at Ridgetown, and the exciting career options for working with animals and their people. A number of students keen to learn more about the new Performance Horse Handling Certificate also delivered at Ridgetown at REACH Huron in Clinton recently attended a future student open house to meet instructors, current students and teaching staff. Current students in the new one-year program have just completed classroom exams and are now beginning a four-week industry work placement at various equine farms and businesses.
